Lisa Edge
Born in Lancashire, Lisa Edge is the CEO of GB Shared, (a network of countrywide sharing platforms across the North West of England, consisting of Lancashare, Mancheshare, Yorkshare, Cumbriashare & Merseyshare) they open GB Shared nationally in 2023.
Lisa spent several years working in the private sector, followed by 2 decades in the public sector, as Head of Employer Engagement, working closely with employers of all shapes, sizes and sectors. Listening to them, Lisa founded Lancashare on Lancashire Day 2016 and aimed to centralise the county's resources with the willing support of its respective business community.
Six years on, GB Shared are the UK's first sustainable marketplace, where thousands of businesses work centrally, collaboratively and for the greater good of themselves, their community and planet. They are multi-award winning, Northern Powerhouse Partners.

GB Shared has a mission to put a share site in every UK county, allowing for county-wide collaboration and sharing of resources. Whilst every business gains high and well measured returns, GB Shared is measuring the collective impact of collaboration on; unemployment, carbon footprint, social values, economy and education. In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, GB Shared gained successful support from the UK Government, via Innovate UK to bring the UK's first national youth platform (16-24's), also powered by UK businesses, bringing unique opportunities to young adults through TheGen.Online.
After humble beginnings as a single mum on a council estate in Bolton with no qualifications or prospects, Lisa educated herself to degree level, is an experienced leader, educator, business owner, awards judge, mentor, mum and foster carer.
